Technicon Gen.7 IGBT Modules Successfully Tested — Efficiency and Stability Confirmed

Technicon has successfully completed a series of engineering tests on Gen.7 IGBT modules integrated into a power drive for a submersible pump (1200 V / 600 A).

Key test results:

Test 1 — Stable heatsink temperature confirmed under full load (630 A, 5 kHz PWM)

Test 2 — Lower snubber capacitor current compared to the reference FF600R12KE4 → reduced overvoltage and EMI

Test 3 — Excellent current balancing between parallel modules: imbalance did not exceed 4% (within the acceptable limit of 10%)

All modules passed 100% parameter control, demonstrating consistency of both static and dynamic characteristics within the same BIN group.
Additional testing at elevated loads and temperatures up to 150 °C confirmed reliability and compliance with industry standards.
